Don’t spend too much time in building muscles.
When it comes to going through exercise routines to build muscles, you should not go beyond the one hour mark. This is because, your body can produce the stress hormone called cortisol when you do that. This hormone can block testosterone and prevent muscle development.

Reward yourself after every workout!

If you want to motivate yourself more in exercising, then think about a reward to give to yourself for completing each workout session. It can be watching a movie, eating your favorite (healthy!) meal, or simply going out for a relaxing day at the beach. By doing this, you will get excited each time you are headed for the gym.

Along with the methods for cultivating a sense of closeness to others there is another key element for developing compassion, and that is deepening our insight into the nature of suffering. The Tibetan tradition maintains that contemplation on suffering is much more effective when it is done on the basis of one’s own personal experience, and when it is focused on oneself, because, generally, we tend to be better able to relate to our own suffering than to that of others. This is why two of the principle elements of the Buddhist path, compassion and renunciation, are seen as two sides of the same coin. True renunciation arises when one has genuine insight into the nature of suffering, focused upon oneself, and true compassion arises when that focus shifts to others, so the difference lies simply in the object of focus.
